How to Give   Tax Benefits   Creating a Fund   Existing Funds   Affiliates   Donor Rights

From time to time, the Community Foundation works with individuals and businesses in a specific geographical region to create a fund to benefit the residents of that area. The volunteers that support these funds provide countless hours of service, for which we are very grateful.

You may make a contribution to any of our geographic affiliates and receive the same tax benefits and support that any of our other donors receive. Currently, the Community Foundation geographic affiliates include:

Chelsea Community Foundation

The Chelsea Community Foundation became affiliated with the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan in 1995. The Chelsea Community Foundation (Download Adobe PDF Document) was formed by the Foundation for Community Care and the Civic Foundation of Chelsea. Led by a volunteer committee of civic leaders, the Chelsea Community Foundation includes funds that support charitable organizations and activities throughout the Chelsea community.
