Seeking grant support from the Community
Foundation for Southeast Michigan is a simple, straightforward process.
We encourage representatives of nonprofits to download a brief Pre-Application
Questionnaire (linked above) as a first step in determining
your eligibility to apply for a grant.
If your answers to the Pre-Application Questionnaire
indicate that you meet basic eligibility requirements, then you
should review the Guidelines for Grantmaking
(linked above) and call and talk to a program officer
to discuss your proposal and the specific application process. The
Guidelines for Grantmaking were revised in December 2006;
please download this current version and disregard previous versions.
