Guidelines for Grantmaking   Scholarships   Recent Grants

Potential applicants to the Community Foundation may find it helpful to review the previous grants made by the Foundation. A complete list of all grants made during the previous year is available in the Community Foundation's Yearbook. (Download Adobe PDF Document) This annual list is long; about 2,000 grants are made yearly. This list provides sub-lists of the grants made by the larger grantmaking programs of the Community Foundation.

Please note: Most grants for general operating support have been made from a donor advised fund or an agency endowment fund. The foundation typically does not make general operating grants from its competitive funds.

The periodic press releases of the Community Foundation contain descriptions of selected grants made each quarter. Because the press releases are issued after each meeting of the Community Foundation's Board of Trustees, they are a more up-to-date source of information on recent grants. The press releases do not, however, contain a list of all grants made each quarter. Community Foundation press releases are available in the Press Room section of the site.
